Is it possible to "hide" folders so they do not show up in Word when citing?

So let's say I have a folder with all the references for my Subject A Paper, and that project is finished but maybe I want to keep the references there for a rewrite sometime in the future (as I understand it, if you delete a folder, the Word doc with the linked references stops working even if you import the rdf file again later, correct me if I'm wrong). I don't want those references to show up in Zotero when I am inserting references in Word in Subject B Paper, can I "hide" the Subject A folder from Zotero for this purpose? Or does anybody know an equivalent work-around? Thanks :)
  • No, but you can access the "classic" citation dialog by clicking the red Z in the main citation and then search within specific collections. You can also make that dialog the default from the Cite pane of the preferences.

There'll be a new citation dialog in the not-too-distant future that makes it easier to narrow to specific collections without switching to the classic dialog.
