Slow importing

Importing into Zotero is extremely slow. It takes about 2 seconds per citation, so 30 citations take a minute, and 1,000 take more than half an hour.

My Zotero library is not located in the default position as there is not enough space on the C drive. Does this make any difference. It is on D:/Zotero.

    If the C drive is an SSD and the D drive isn't, then yes, for sure.

    Imports are currently pretty slow, though, and we're planning to speed them up.

    Still interested in this. Trying to import an RIS file with about 6k items into a group folder. I though this functionality had been enhanced, but it seems as slow as ever
