Indexing of Articles

It would be very helpful if indexing (alphanumerical) of articles is allowed and, if such index is visible as one of the columns.

    Are you asking about the ability to add your own index terms to a record? See tags.

    You can currently perform searches of your library by text-words and author names.

    What I meant is the ability of having another column where the user can type in his own index/reference/number for the article. Say you have an article written my Mr A then in the index column you can key in 001. If you have another article written by Mr B then you can key in 002 etc etc.

    Tags are great but your cannot perform any sorting (descending or ascending)
