Can't find "Add Item by Identifier" in new layout

    I do have the same problem- for a year I added books by ISBN, now in the new layout I can't find: "add item by identifier" anymore.
    Will this be possible soon? I'm really not happy having to add every single information of a book that before was so much easier...
    Or is there anybody who knows how this works now?

    I'm not sure what "new layout" you're referring to but this is some sort of misunderstanding. "Add Item by Identifier" is still an option in the Zotero toolbar. "Add By Identifier" is also an option in the new web library (whereas it was never an option in the old web library).

    If you can't find it, take a screenshot of whatever you're referring to, upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox), and provide a link here.

    In the web library to the upper right: click the three dots and follow the drop-down.

    In the local computer-based version: click the "magic wand".
