Can Zotfile link notes/highlights to cloud items rather than local files?

When exporting notes/highlights from annotated pdf's, Zotfile creates a link to the local file as reference. Is it possible to change this to point to a cloud item instead?

    I apologize, that was not clear. I would like the link to point to the file on my Zotero Web Library instead of my local file.

    Oh, got it. I don’t think that’s currently possible. It could be added as an option, but the Zotfile developer hasn’t been very active lately. I think he would accept a patch from a community member if someone added that as an option.
