no addressbar icon

Hi

I am using firefox 3.5. When I access either CABI (through my university's website) there is no zotero icon in the location bar - either for the search results page or for an individual reference.

I know there is a similar problem with ISI, but I rarely use that.

The icon appears OK when I use google scholar.

Any help gratefully received

    can you post a URL? As you use it including any proxy etc. parts of the address.

    Sorry Adam - I should have done that anyway

    There are both an old and a new site - we need to switch to the new one by next month but neither work. Full addresses including proxy and search.

    No icon indeed. Was there ever one? Unless Cabi embeds data (COinS), someone needs to write a translator for Zotero.

    AFAIK, there's not yet a translator for cabdirect2, just one for CABI.org (e.g. http://www.cabi.org/datapage.asp?iDocID=1370 )

    Thought CABI and CAB direct were the same thing - to quote their website "Welcome to the new version of CABI's database platform, CAB Direct"

    anyway - it doesn't work for the old one either!

    What do you mean by "the old one?" Does the page that I linked to work for you? There has only been a translator for the pages in the CABI.org domain (such as the bookstore).

    CAB-Direct (both the old and new versions you link to) is not under that domain and has not been supported.

    Yes - your link does. I'd assumed the CABI translator was for the bibliographic section rather than the CABI publications page.

    Can I request a translator please - this is an important database particularly for those working with developing country science as it indexes a lot of more obscure journals. Looks like I'll have to use ISI for now then.
