GoogleDoc Zotero Button Greyed-Out

Hello: the Zotero add-on button in a Googledoc that I am working on is greyed-out (inactive), and I am unable to reactivate it. Please advise. Thanks!

    This sounds like at least partly a misunderstanding. The Z in the Google Docs toolbar is always gray. Clicking it should still works, as should selecting options from the Zotero menu. If that's not working, try restarting your browser and Zotero.
