JSTOR articles not saving with attachment or metadata
I'm having trouble with my JSTOR access through my university (NYU). I have the most recent version of Firefox (3.5.2 for Mac) and Zotero (2.0b6.4) I no longer get the address bar icon when accessing articles in JSTOR but I haven't noticed this problem with other sites (I also use Amazon, NYU Library, Worldcat, Google Scholar, Project Muse, and ProQuest). Also, if I click on the "add" button and select "Journal Article," Zotero doesn't save the metadata or attach the file. Here's what I've done to troubleshoot so far:
- Checked for updated translators
- reinstalled Firefox and Zotero
- Downgraded Firefox
- Re-upgraded Firefox
Thanks for your attention.

If you can generate debug output for the process of logging into your proxy and pulling up a JSTOR page that doesn't show the icon (or, if you don't get the icon on the stable page, just for loading that page), send it to support@zot....org with a link to this thread, and we'll take a look.
I tried to generate the debug output but I don't know how to use Terminal. I followed the instructions in the "debug output" link, but when I pressed Command-K, the screen went blank. Not sure what I'm supposed to do after Command.
But I'll go ahead and send this to support, thanks for your help.
Just press Cmd-K, load the web pages in question to generate the necessary output, and then copy the output to the clipboard. Then paste it into TextEdit and send the file to us.
(We're currently working on making it easier to send us debug output in the next version of Zotero.)
Thanks for all of your help.
