Open Word/Writer

Is it possible to open Zotero using the icons in Word or Writer. If not, can it be implemented?

    No, you should open the Zotero app and Word/LibreOffice, then work with the ribbon. It’s not possible for Zotero to be opened from within the Word Processor. Note that Zotero does not support OpenOffice and hasn’t in nearly a decade.

    Yes, for technical reasons this isn’t possible.

    Where I believe the technical reasons are mainly (very reasonable) security limitations on opening an external executable from a Word macro.
