Upgrade Storagecant edit imported pdf and cant find "retrieve metadata"
Hi, when I right-click on the pdf document I get the usual windows right-click menu (Back/Forward/Reload/Save as/Print, etc.). I dont see any Zotero menu.

It sounds like you're viewing a PDF in your browser. Are you saying this is a PDF you already saved to your Zotero library, and you're just double-click it in Zotero to view it?
That would open in whatever the default PDF reader on your computer is — which might be your web browser — and doesn't have anything whatsoever to do with metadata, adding a creator, etc. That you would do in Zotero itself.
Read through Retrieve PDF Metadata to understand how this works, and what to do if metadata isn't found.
If I'm correct, first of all, it's strongly recommended to work in the downloadable application, not the web interface, which has limited functionality.
If you really do want to do this in the web interface, I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think there's an equivalent to "Create parent item" or dragging a PDF to an item to attach it in the web interface.
