Data directory in custom folder not read
Hello everyone! I'm running Zotero standalone 5.0.93 in Ubuntu 20.04.1 and customized a different folder for the data directory (not the default /home/username/Zotero). It worked wonderfully until a few weeks ago it went back to default and choosing a different folder does not work as not all folders are viewed in the dialog window; only Ubuntu default folders are seen but not any other created on Home. I'm not sure whether it is strictly-speaking a Zotero-related problem or Ubuntu's so I'd appreciate some insight on the matter.

dstillmanYou're using a third-party Snap package or some other sandboxed package that doesn't have access to the custom folder.
-
alexstipI'm using the package available in GNOME Software 3.36

dstillmanRight, that's a third-party package that we don't have anything to do with, and it sounds like it's sandboxed. The easiest thing would be to use the default location hard-coded into the package.

alexstipYou were right. I reinstall using the downloaded package and worked beautifully! Thanks a lot.
