Transfer Item To A New Collection

Hi, I’ve been setting up one collection for each document that I’ve been writing (Word 2013). Now I’m starting a new document that is based off of an older one. I’m going to import a couple of sections, modify them, and write a whole lot more. Is there some way to transfer multiple items from the old collection to the new one? Or do it need to copy-paste the text and then redo each citation?

Thanks,
Adrian
  • I'm not sure if I understand the question right -- the use of "collection" confuses me -- but if you're asking whether it's possible to copy sections with references from one document to the other, the answer is yes.
  • I'm not really following this. Are you asking about items in Zotero or citations in your document?

You can copy items between collections just by dragging them — all that does is add the items to the new collection, so it has no effect on your word processor documents.

You can copy citations between documents by copying and pasting.
  • Got it, thanks. That's easy.
