Hi, Im trying to enter the PMID into the search where it allows you to include that or a url but that option isn't showing up anymore. I don't know if it's an issue on my end or some sort of glitch

Could you say what exactly you're referring to, and say more about what exactly you're expecting and what's happening? See Reporting Problems.

You can't enter a URL in Zotero. There's Add Item by Identifier but that doesn't accept URLs.

In the web library, Add by Identifier does accept URLs.

PubMed IDs will work in either.

I usually see the "add item by identifier" button next to the "Item type' button on the top but identifier option isn't there anymore so I don't know where to type in the PMID to get the article I need

You're saying you don't see the Add Item by Identifier button at all in the Zotero toolbar? Can you take a screenshot of what you're seeing, upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox), and provide a link here?

That's the old web library. It's not the Zotero app that you download and run on your computer, which is what you want to be using, and it's not even the new, current Zotero web library that has the Add by Identifier functionality.

You can use the current web library by clicking "Try the New Web Library Beta" at the top (it's not actually in beta anymore, and you have to go out of your way to switch to the old version), but you want to be using the Zotero app anyway.
