How to force a letter to be lower case in title?

I have a paper with a mathematical symbol k in it. So if I have to keep it as lower case k when exported to bibtex, I had to use <span class="nocase">k</span> in title.

But then the <span></span> tag also shows up in my zotero profile.

Is there anyway walk-around of this problem?

    There's likely something missing from your post, but if you mean that the nocase tag shows in your profile then no, there's no way around that.

    A future version of Zotero will provide a way to specify these things without using raw HTML markup.
