Upgrade Storagedisabled macros
Dear all, I was running zotero normally but the last few days a message appears when I open Word
macros can not be found or have been disabled.
and the Zotero Tab has disappeared.
I reinstalled Zotero
I checked in Options > Trust Center > Macro Settings and it was enabled
i checked preferences-word processors-cite-reinstall adds on
and finally I checked
Tools-adds on to be enabled.
None worked.
I run Windows 10, Word 2019, Chrome
I will appreciate any help

and the file
zotero
had no extension.dotm
and even that I tried to download it again, it was allways empty
What's your full Word Startup folder path, and is there a Zotero.dotm file in there? (You can x out your username if you want.)

The full folder path is
C:\Users\marpa\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP (IN GREEK)
there is a Zotero file without.dotm extension and it is empty.
Delete that file in your startup folder and restart Word, and make sure you're no longer getting an error and the Zotero tab doesn't show up.
Then close Word, reinstall the plugin from the Cite → Word Processors pane of the Zotero preferences, and restart Word, and see if the tab reappears.
If so, you should ask your IT department. They may have put additional restrictions on the system that prevent Word templates with macros from being used.
