Upgrade StorageCan't use Google Docs with Zotero on CloudReady Chrome OS
I'm using CloudReady, a kind of Chrome OS. Mine is installed on what used to be a Windows laptop by HP.
This means I have no option to use Linux to add the Zotero program locally, so when I go to Google Docs I no longer have the Zotero drop-down menu and I can't cite, even though I have the Zotero plugin running on Chrome.
I'm guessing I'm stuck, but it'd be good to know of any workaround, or any plans Zotero might have to make it truly web-based rather than requiring a local program.

In the meantime, there's no other way to get the full power of the word processor plugins in Google Docs, but there are some alternatives:
1) You can generate bibliographies (though not citations) from the web library. You'd have to type citations manually, and keep track of the items you were citing in a collection.
2) You could use RTF Scan.
3) If you don't need to build up a research library, ZoteroBib will also let you copy citations to the clipboard, as long as you're using a style where that makes sense (not a numeric style or one that requires "ibid." or name disambiguation). A future version of the Zotero web library might support generating citations in a similar manner.
