Zotero Translators do not work for Qulto library catalogs
Hi!
This is my first post here and I kinda feel bad it's one where I'm complaining about functionality, because I really think Zotero is a very neat piece of software, and I really want to congratulate the team for the great work.
The problem is that I can't seem to make the connector work with this particular library catalog. Here's a link to an item just to exemplify:
http://portal.bjc.qulto.ro/ro/record/-/record/BJC1428696
I have submitted a Debug Output as instructed on your Translators Troubleshooting Page and the DebugID is: D1536427151
I sometimes get an error message that says:
"An error occurred saving with COinS. Attempting to save using Embedded Metadata instead.
An error occurred saving with Embedded Metadata. Attempting to save using Save as Webpage instead."
...but most of the time the connector just simply says it's "Saving to My Library".
The name of the translator that I get is COinS.
I think that the problem is common to all of the public catalogs of the Qulto type. Here's a link from one entry from a different library that uses the same library software:
http://portal.bjm.qulto.ro:8081/ro/record/-/record/BJM384882
The 'symptoms' are exactly the same.
Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

Can you say exactly what you're doing on the site to reproduce this?
You should also try disabling any third-party extensions in Firefox, in case that's interfering.
@dstillman, sorry! I forgot to mention that indeed the item is saved in the library, but the Item Type is the generic 'Document', not 'Book' as is the case with this particular item. Because of that, I presume, the 'Place' information about the book gets saved in the 'Extra:' field (I don't know if that's the case on your side as well). Maybe it's because of the "not improved" COinS import, as @adamsmith pointed (sorry if I messed up the technical slang... not familiar with it!).
Other than that, citations inside LibreOffice Writer, at least (I'm at home now and I only have access to this) seem to work fine. Even the place of publication seems to be properly inserted. So basically it just bugs me that I don't get the proper translators.
The thing with the URL in my debug output is that, with this type of library catalogues, if I send somebody the URL in my browser bar, the person that receives it gets an error page. We can test that out here:
http://portal.bjc.qulto.ro/record/-/record/display/manifestation/BJC257851/e0275cc7-0be2-40f4-b631-2e650fa5410e/solr/0/24/4/13/titleOrder/ASC
Qulto catalogues apparently have a link at the bottom of every page of a specific record that actually points to that record. Those are the links I posted in my initial post, so I don't confuse you (apparently, the opposite happened).
@adamsmith, to be perfectly transparent, I work for this public library, the one in first link, and I wanted an improved compatibility with Zotero so we can suggest it to our patrons. Our integrated library system is provided by the guys at Qulto. Here's a link to their website:
https://qulto.eu/en/web/portal/library-management
I looked there for a list of libraries that use their software, but I wasn't very successful. I just knew that there are other libraries in Romania (where I'm from) that use it, and tried to see whether I get the same results that I get with my library when using the connector.
Thanks again for your time, sorry for the long post, hope I answered your requests!
