Upgrade StorageZotero Integration Error Message

I'm using Microsoft Word for Mac version 16.16.27 and I'm on a Macbook running Catalina.
I'm trying to insert a citation into a Word doc, but I keep getting this error message:
"Zotero experienced an error updating your document.
The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -1743.) @[getDocument:application.m:81]"
I tried restarting both Zotero and Word and tried using a new word doc but the error still occurs.
I've already looked through these troubleshooting tips but none seem applicable: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting

dstillmanYes, to be clear, you were running a version of Zotero from October 2016. You should make sure that auto-updates are working going forward.
