Upgrade StorageErrors in Feed RSS from www.sciencedirect.com (Version 5.0.92)
When I used "Feed" in Zotero for RSS subscription, I found that Zotero could not get the Abstract from the sciencedirect website correctly. In the place where it should be Abstract, I can only get the Publication date and the Author's name.
For example, http://rss.sciencedirect.com/publication/science/13596454, ScienceDirect Publication: Acta Materialia, the Abstract parts of articles are all missing.

adomasvenThat's down to sciencedirect. Since rss feed fields do not directly map to fields like abstract, we use approximate fields. In this case it is using the description field from the RSS feed where ScienceDirect provides the info you're seeing. If you want better metadata you should contact ScienceDirect.
