In-text Citation in MS word with MacOS Catalina
Hello,
I am using a Mac with MacOS Catalina 10.15.5 and the lastest version of MS word 365 and Zotera.
I am trying to add an In-text citation, but it always generate a full reference.
Is it juste me or is there an issue.

What is generated is the long bibliographic citation with the journal and everything.
(Meyer, W. B., & Turner, B. L. (1992). Human population growth and global land-usecover change. Annual review of ecology and systematics, 23(1), 39-61..pdf, s. d.)
I don't see the curriculum vitae of the 7th ed.
Note the expanded item "Circulation of Medicine..." -- that's a Zotero item with a PDF attached. That's how you your items should look in Zotero if you want to cite them.
The citation add-on will not pick up attachments, so once you have things organized properly, you'll automatically cite the Zotero item.
Not sure how you got that PDF into Zotero in the first place -- you can try using right-click --> Retrieve metadata on it, but good chance it won't work (Zotero tries this when you drag a PDF to Zotero), so your best bet is to import it from the publisher: https://www.annualreviews.org/doi/10.1146/annurev.es.23.110192.000351 and then attach your PDF. Then delete the existing citation and re-cite.
