Unable to copy items between libraries

Hello!

I'm doing a search in Library A and then select all and drag into Library B. However, the items are not copied. (Library B is empty.)

    Are there items in the trash in the target library?

    You might get this if 1) there's an item in the target library (trash or otherwise) linked to one of the dragged items and 2) you haven't yet loaded the target library since starting Zotero.

    @bjohas: This should be fixed in the latest Zotero beta.

    (It could happen if the item was previously dragged from another library that hadn't been loaded, even if the target library was empty.)

    However, while the tar bundle is called Zotero-5.0.91-beta.6+20c8cede4_linux-x86_64.tar.bz, the Zotero version 5.0.89. Is that a mistake with the beta, or am I not using the beta?

    ./zotero-bin --version
    Mozilla Firefox 60.9.0

    You're not using the beta if it says 5.0.89.

    Also you don't start Zotero by running 'zotero-bin'. The start script is 'zotero'. (--version doesn't return the Zotero version number, so that's not relevant.)

    If you want to use the beta semi-permanently, uninstall any other copies of Zotero you have installed and then see the Linux installation instructions.

    If you just want to use it temporarily, you can just run ./zotero within the directory extracted from the tarball.
