all authors mentioned first citation

hi!

I am using APA citation style and usually zotero cites all authors (max 5) the first time and after that only the first author is shown with 'et al' behind it. This was perfect, until today.. Now i get automatically 'et al' after the first author for every citation also the first one.
Anyone know why zotero suddenly changed this?

That is the norm with the newest version of APA, number 7.

You can always switch to APA6 if you want the old behaviour. (make sure to choose APA and not ASA)

As damnation says, this is correct behavior in APA 7th edition.

But i've been using APA 6th edition (no DOI's, no issue numbers) for weeks now (not 7th edition), and from 3 days ago, zotero suddenly uses 'et al' for every citation.

Do you have a couple of examples and how they appear in the bibliography? The style hasn't changed.

Yes, the APA (no DOI, no issue number) style hasn't changed. Double check that you actually have that style selected in your Document Preferences, rather than APA 7th edition. Also try to change to a different style and back.
