Connector fails to correctly download PubMed files

Hi Folks:

This started happening today with Connector failing to a metadata read (An error occurred saving with PubMed. Attempting to save using Embedded Metadata instead.). Example: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32846863/. From the logs it looks like maybe something on the NLM end? Oh, yeah reset the translators on Connector and Zotero, still no go.

Yes, the PubMed metadata service was timing out for you.

Pubmed connector is also broken here. Perhaps there was a change in API?

No, the PubMed API hasn't changed, and it works fine in general — you can click on the above request to check for yourself. It works for me. It does go down occasionally, though.

If you're having trouble, we'd need an example URL and a Report ID from the Zotero Connector after a save attempt failed.

It's working again now, but still occasionally times out.

I guess PubMed servers are having some problems.
