when I add a reference via the Zotero plugin in Firefox, then Zotero is syncning and does not stop.

dstillmanCan you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) from Zotero that shows this happening? You should restart Zotero first, and if it happens for the initial auto-sync then we'd want a Debug ID from Zotero startup through the sync, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option.
