Not able to add a citation in a word document. The error message "You must place the cursor in a Zotero citation to edit it" comes up.

    What exact version of Word?

    Does this happen in a new, completely blank document?

    I'm using office 365.

    I tried in a new document, it works for a while (max 5 min) then the same message comes up.

    Can you send a copy of the new document in which this is occurring to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

    The document you sent works for me. Can you say the exact steps you're taking to reproduce this, from opening the document through the error?
