Vancouver abbreviate journal title

How come that the standard Vancouver bibliografic format (19/6/2016) does not abbreviate journal titles?

    what makes you think it doesn't?

    I get this:
    1. O’Connor T. Palliative care is a specialty ‘but not just for specialists’. Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand. 2020 Aug;26(7):12–3.
    2. Harden K, Price D, Duffy E, Galunas L, Rodgers C. Palliative Care: Improving nursing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors. Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing. 2017 Oct;21(5):E232–8.

    How are you creating these? Using "Create Bibliography" from Zotero, it'll look in the Journal Abbr. field (and default to the full publication name where that's empty). Only when using word processor add-ons do you get automated abbreviations.

    This is made in word with zotero add on (add/edit CITATION AND BIBLIOGRAPHY):
