Experimental Word 2004 Plugin

Hi, I downloaded Zotero 2.0 and the experimental version of Word 2004 plugin to my Mac OS X 10.4 (Based on Simon's comment on April 7 under the thread "2.0 Beta: Timeline on Mac Word 2004 plugin?'). The plugin shows up on the toolbar, but no icons (pictures). When I put the cursor on the plugin toolbar, I see "Zotero insert citation," "Zotero edit citation," etc. However, when I click on the pulgin toolbar, it doesn't allow me to insert citation or anything. Please help!

    Not sure why you're getting that, but you can try reinstalling. Delete both /Library/Application Support/Zotero/Word 2004 (that's /Library at the root of your hard drive, not in your home folder) and /Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Startup/Word/Zotero.dot, restart Word to make sure the toolbar is gone, and then try reinstalling the experimental plugin.

    Thanks, Dan. I tried exactly what you wrote, but it didn't work. Someone mentioned that it maybe the source of the problem that I'm using iBookG4 and Microsoft Office X. Is it?

    Office X?

    Zotero does not support Office X. It supports Office 2004 and 2008.
