Style Request: American Psychological Association 7th edition (TU Dresden)
Hello,
i have used the citation style "American Psychological Association 7th edition" for my scientific work. Unfortunately it is not in accordance with the requirements of my university. Can someone help me to adapt the style?
The bibliography should look like the following:
American Psychological Association, APA (Hrsg.) (2010). Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6. Auflage), Washington, DC: American Psychological Association.
Dechow, P., Ge, W., & Schrand C. (2010). Understanding earnings quality: A review of the proxies, their determinants and their consequences. Journal of Accounting & Economics, 50. Jg., Heft 2 - 3, S. 344 - 401.
Haller, A., & Fuhrmann, C. (2012). Die Entwicklung der Lageberichterstattung in Deutschland vor dem Hintergrund des Konzepts des „Integrated Reporting“. Zeitschrift für internationale und kapitalmarktorientierte Rechnungslegung, 12. Jg., Heft 10, S. 461 - 469.
I have to use the words: "Hrsg.", "Auflage", "Heft" ...
Can someone PLEASE help me?
Linda
Thank you!

Thank you!
If you need other changes, let me know. Your examples don’t include DOIs, but those are really important for making items retrievable, so I recommend leaving them.
Thank you very very very much for your answer!
My settings are set to german.
By means of an example I would like to show my desired changes:
For the paper (DOI: 10.1016/j.jacceco.2010.09.001) I receive the following citation in the bibliography with the APA style:
Dechow, P., Ge, W., & Schrand, C. (2010). Understanding earnings quality: A review of the proxies, their determinants and their consequences. Journal of Accounting and Economics, 50(2), 344–401. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jacceco.2010.09.001
But the university gives me the following guidelines:
Dechow, P., Ge, W., & Schrand C. (2010). Understanding earnings quality: A review of the proxies, their determinants and their consequences. Journal of Accounting & Econom-ics, 50. Jg., Heft 2 - 3, S. 344 - 401.
Thank you very munch for your help!!!
i just don't need the DOI, and the names "Jg", "Heft", "Hrsg.", "S." have to be adapted...
Can you help me? please
And what do you advise me now? which style should i take?
Can you at least remove the DOI?

@Linda2901, you should talk to the library about this rather silly reqirement of eliminating the DOI--the one most reliable identifier, which makes finding the cited work and accessing it as easy as pie. The library staff might help you convince your professors to update their style guides. Back in my days, with the faculty of medicine, we were successful regarding this.
But I don't think that I can change the guidelines until the end of September. Therefore I would like to follow them for this scientific work and I would be really grateful if you could help me.

Can you answer my questions—should the language be set to German and can you share the PDF on a public website ?

Actually, the language should always be german, yes!
