incorrect "year" field in cut and paste reference
I use both "year" and "date" fields in zotero. Date is the date of publication which includes the year, and year only includes the year. Many bibliographic styles only want the year (AMA, IEEE, etc.) but when I use drag and drop fro zotero, it includes the month as well as the year.
I am using 2.06b. How can I fix this?
example:
[1] K. Salloum, J. Hayes, C. Friesen, and J. Posner, “Sequential flow membraneless microfluidic fuel cell with porous electrodes,” Journal of Power Sources, vol. 180, Jan. 2008, pp. 243-252.

It just has a date field for me.
The styles that just call for the year should extract that year from the date as part of the .csl, which is able to do that.
If they don't, please post the relevant styles with examples and I'll look into fixing that. Make sure the styles really only require the year.
