Login problems in Zotero app

Just began to use Zotero and can't log in to the app. Have created an online account already. Have rebooted the computer as well. Any help?

  • Thanks for your response. I created my account online. And then after downloading the app, I went to Preferences and under Sync was trying to sign in with my username and password. Says error, and that either username or password are wrong. (They aren't.)
  • If it says they're wrong, they're almost certainly wrong. Clear both fields, restart Zotero for good measure, and then try again.

    If you're still having trouble, provide a Debug ID for an attempt to set up syncing that isn't working. (Your password won't be logged.)
  • Clearing field and quitting Zotero worked. Thanks so much! Also, the username and password were right, just fyi.
