Sorting in Papership synced with Zotero

Hi, I use Papership on my iPad to read the papers I download on my laptop using Zotero. I need my papers sorted according to their publication dates which I am able to do on the Zotero app on the laptop. But when I am on my iPad, the Papership app does not mirror/sync the sequence on the laptop and they are in some other order. If I try to sort by publication date using the Papership feature, it doesn't give me the same order. Can anyone help? Thank you so much!

    You’ll need to ask the developers of Papership (who unfortunately are not very responsive if at all).
