Problems in upgrading to Firefox 2.0.0.4

I installed zotero on firefox 2.0 on a Windows system, and it worked properly for one week. Then I installed it on a Fedora system with firefox 2.0.0.4 but it doesn't show me the icon in the address bar to download information for the same IEEE site. I noticed that after I upgraded firefox to version 2.0.0.4 on the Windows system neither in this system it shows me the icon so there must be some incompatibility with firefox 2.0.0.4.
  • I just found that I have the same problem on two of my computers. The Zotero bar icon and my access to it has just disappeared from two computers that I installed 2.0.0.4. It would be nice to have zotero back. it is still in my 'add-ons' but I'm unsure of how to make it work if I can't click on the icon.
  • Well, these are two separate issues.

baba78: Zotero should work fine with 2.0.0.4. On the Linux box, turn on the pref extensions.zotero.debug.log via about:config and then restart firefox via the command line. Then load a page that should show an icon in the address bar, and, if it doesn't, send the output from the terminal to support@zo....org.

zoggwatch: Make sure Zotero is enabled in Add-ons, and then, if the Zotero icon isn't showing up and you can't access Zotero via Tools->Zotero, follow the steps in the Advanced Instructions section of the Reporting Bugs page and let us know what shows up in the Error Console.
