Copying from Microsoft Word to Zotero

Every time that I try to paste some sentences from a microsoft word file to Zotero nothing happens and it does not allow me to copy the data. How may I fix it?
Is there any way to copy my notes in word (docx format) to a zotero child note?

    Nothing special. It should work the same as any other text source, and does for me. The file format in Word has no bearing on this — it's just text in the clipboard — but there could be some unusual rich-text formatting of those sentences that's breaking things. Depending on your OS, there may be a way to paste without formatting (e.g., Command + Option + Shift + V (Paste and Match Style) on macOS), or you can copy via a plain-text editor like Notepad/TextEdit.
