text based input for bibliography?

I have a list of references in text format !. Most are apa style, but styles may differ.

Is it possible to feed this bunch of text trough zotero, and with minimal human input, get a reference list alphabetically ordered fully in APA style?

I know I can make a list of papers in any software, and get the bibliography, but I only have this list ready in text format in microsoft word. So I want to avoid having to make a new list in another software, like Zotero, manually. Can feed in this bunch of text directly?

thanks in advance for yours anwers
  • Run it trough AnyStyle (https://anystyle.io/), import the results in Zotero, clean up where required, and have Zotero create a new bibliography.
  • Thx, will check that out!

  • hi Emiliano

This seems to work surprisingly well! So far, also the only way this is possible, I couldn't find an option in mendely or endnote to import a list of text based references and apply a a particular citations style to it. Anyparse is great!

    Thanks!
