No longer able to save PDFs to my storage

Hello,

I have the current version of Zotero and Firefox connector; however, I am not longer abe to save PDFs (they show as webpage screenshot) to my library. I am not aware of any changes on my laptop. I am fairly new to Zotero. I hope someone can help.

I have the same problem (e.g. for all PDFs on JSTOR, example URL: https://www.jstor.org/stable/pdf/24365010.pdf). The Zotero Connector icon quickly changes from the PDF symbol to the greyed out Webpage with Snapshot-Icon, which does nothing, when loading the page.

I'm seeing this too on JSTOR with Firefox. 1-2 reloads usually fix this.
That said, you shouldn't save from the PDF page. Instead, save from the item page (https://www.jstor.org/stable/24365010 ), which will attach the PDF

I'm not seeing that. Can we see a Debug ID from the connector for loading the PDF and getting the webpage icon? Does it happen if you load the above URL in the current tab, or only if you click on a PDF link that opens in a new tab?

Oh, wait, I can reproduce it in Firefox. It's fine in Chrome. We'll take a look — no Debug ID needed.

This should be fixed in the latest Zotero Connector beta for Firefox (5.0.70beta1). Barring any problems, we'll push this out to everyone soon.

Thanks so much to all for your help. My apologies for the delay. I look forward to seeing this fixed as when I tried to the Zotero Connector a few days ago, it didn't resolve the issue.

Quick tests with the connector beta look good to me

This is fixed now in Zotero Connector 5.0.70 for Firefox.
