Automatic switch to new item

When adding a new item with the "Create New Item from Current Page" tool I find it annoying that Zotero does not switch to the new item (so that I can add tags), but that I need to search for it.

    It does—or, at least, it should, and it does for me. Can you give some specifics? What's selected, are you in a collection, does it happen on all pages, etc.

    I have been playing around with it a while. It is not a consistent issue. But sometimes, Zotero does not switch to the new items.

    I am just selecting different web pages as clicking the "Create New Item from Current Page" icon.

    I am in My Library.
