Tags get dropped when copying from personal to group library

I just noticed that, when copying items from my personal library to a group library, numerous tags and color assignments get dropped. This happens online and on the desktop version.

Am I missing something obvious here?

    (Update: This happens even if I drag the folder in my library to the group library.)

    (Update: Exporting the original and the importing it into the group library did the trick—except for the color of some of the tags still changed.)

    Most likely the items were previously dragged and still exist — with different tags — in the trash of the target library. When you drag the items again, Zotero currently will restore the items from the trash instead, with the metadata and tags unchanged. To get around that, empty the trash first. (This is obviously not ideal and will be improved in a future version.)
