No lines of codes in the csl style file

Hi,

I'm trying to use the "Academy of Management Journal" style for my manuscript, and since the style has been last updated in 2015, it needs a minor modification (maybe there's more I'm not aware of). Specifically, I want to remove the issue number insterted in paranthesis in the reference section.
I wanted to follow the advice by @adamsmith in this post (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/32375/apa-issue-number) and remove this line:
<</text variable="issue" prefix="(" suffix=")">>
from the csl code, but the code does not appear in the Style Editor section of the Zotero software. I attempted to download it directly from Zotero website and open it on Notepad, but there are only a few lines of codes in it(as follows in the link below):

Any advice on this is appreciated.

    That's a dependent style. See the "independent-parent" line for the actual style.

    No idea what you did, but it's the wrong way to do it.

    AMJ is a dependent style of AMR as you saw in the style. All Zotero does when you choose the AMJ style is to use the AMR style.
    Now, considering that you identified an error in the style, it is better to get this fixed for everybody in the community so we all and not just you can take advantage of a correct style.

    I have now submitted a fix for the style that removes the issue variable and will fix this for AMR, AMJ and any other style that is based on it.

    Also note that the date of a dependent style does NOT change even if the parent style get's updated and has a newer date.

    I realized that AMJ is a dependent style of AMR from dstillman's comment, of course.

    Now, if you're referring to me not submitting a fix for the style, there were two reasons for it:
    1- I simply was not aware of such process.
    2 - Even if I was, AMJ does not require exclusion of issue numbers for all references (although it does for vast majority of them). See "Academy of Management STYLE GUIDE FOR AUTHORS" in their website for more details.
    As a result, I'm not sure if simply removing this line is the "correct" solution for everyone, although it is better in most cases.
