Permission to apply subscription fees to access our own resources within Zotero software

Hi.
Is it possible to have our own resources within the Zotero software accessible only through subscriptions?
All best,
Simon.
  • I'm not sure what you mean here. Can you say more?

What subscriptions are you talking about?
  • I'm talking about a pay wall.
I'm talking about having our own, self-contained, private resources on the Zotero software that people/organisations can see but only access through purchasing a yearly subscription/ license.
    I) Can we do this - or is it not part of the ethos of Zotero?
    2) Can we logistically do this - by creating the code to only allow access once a payment has been made?

Sorry, I just don't know what you're talking about here. Nothing like what you're describing is offered by Zotero, and I don't know kind of "code" you're talking about creating or who you're suggesting would be creating it, or what form of access to Zotero data you're referring to. Zotero is a local program on your computer, and it syncs to a web library under our control that you obviously don't run and can't charge for yourself, so I'm afraid I just don't know what you mean here.
  • You have kinda answered my question - even though you don't know what I mean.
    Thank you.
