Style Public Library of Science no doi in bibliography

Hello!

I chose the citation style public of science and it does not show the doi in the bibliography. all dois are included in Zotero but only 2-3 articles show the doi.

Do the guidelines mention Dois? (If so where)
Do recent publications include them? (If so, please post a link to a freely available example)

dois are supposed to stand last in the bibliography

I have to put the doi in for my masters thesis.

plos one articles seem to not always put the doi in
confusing

is it possible to create a version that includes the doi?

Any reason for you to use PLOS style? There are a good number of styles that always use DOIs

unfortunately it's a requirement. I just don't understand why it does not always show the doi. in the preview it does.

but i will find a way.

The PLOS style, based on publisher guidelines, only includes DOIs for in press journal articles (without a volume or page number): https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/5df72503699d602957f9124892da0856c5d05642/plos.csl#L194

The requirement is to use PLOS style for a dissertation? PLOS uses a Vancouver variant so there a number of styles that are quite similar, e.g. Elsevier Vancouver (ironically...).
