APA Format error --Word Mac

When I import a citation using APA style, the citation appears inline right after the reference It BUT the previous 5 or 6 lines are reformatted as indented. I cannot reformat it match the rest o the document. This error doesn't occur with Chicago style. This makes Zotero impossible to use
  • How exactly are you adding references or citations it your document?
  • I use the Zotero plug in for Word for Mac. I click the APA format option.
  • Most recent versions of both
  • Can you take a screenshot of what the problem is, upload it to Dropbox or similar, and post a link here?
  • Here is the link to my Dropbox with the screen shot of a Word file paragraph with the problem. Thanks for helping!

  • It looks like you’ve inserted the bibliography (as well as the citation) into the main body of your text. Delete that and instead place your cursor at the end of your document where you want the bibliography to be and click the Add/Edit Bibliography button there.
  • It worked!!!
    Thank you.

What I can't understand is why I hadn't had this problem the last time I used Z. I used it with the Chicago Style those times, though.

Thanks again, You saved me from lots of confusion.
  • APA sets the bibliography to be double spaced and hanging indented. Chicago doesn’t do either of those, so it matched your existing text style.
