Hello, I'm using a Mac, Word version16 (2020). I have a citation that i deleted but it continues to appear in the bibliography. I looked for how to highlight the fieldcodes and can't find it. Any advice, please let me know. Thanks!
Just to be clear, make sure you've tried toggling field codes. That's how you'd find the citation if a part of it is left in the document.
The only other possibility would be that you used Add/Edit Bibliography to edit the bibliography and add it as an uncited item. If that's the case, you can remove it from the same dialog or you can delete and reinsert the bibliography.
