Facing difficulty to convert all footnotes into endnotes in a large document with 1000 citations.

Try to delete the bibliography before switching, then re-insert it. Otherwise, see these troubleshooting instructions https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/debugging_broken_documents

Isn't it also just possible to convert using Word? Might be a useful workaround here.

I think only one note at a time, but perhaps there is a convert all function.
