Importing references from a spreadsheet

Is there a way to import references into Zotero that have been stored in a spreadsheet, i.e., where each reference is a row and each field is a column?

    Not directly, no. Someone would have to write a script to convert an exported CSV file to a format that Zotero supports (e.g., RIS).

    I'm learning Python and this could be a great beginner project for me. Can you send me an example file with just a few rows to have some real data to work with? Then it's more real/serious.
