Translator field

Hello, when i create a new presentation, there used to be an additional drop down choices, Presenter, contributor, and translator. i had to update my zotero to latest version few days ago and now i dont see translator under names field. how do i go about adding it? thank you

    Presentation has never had Translator in that dropdown menu (not for any reason, just an oversight). You can enter the Translator into Extra like this:
    Translator: Last || First

    That will get picked up in citations as needed and will be transferred to a real Translator field when that becomes available.

    if i could share a screenshot i would, before update to the latest version of zotero, we have translator in drop down.. unless it's in a csl somewhere? if i could mod the csl to have that done i would, if i know how...

    Translator is in the drop down menu for some items types, but not others.

    Like I said above, you can add a translator to Extra and it will appear in citations.

    I just need help from someone to tell me how to add it back so it's available for presentation

    Again, add it to Extra like this:
    Translator: Last Name || First Name

    Thank you, that does work, but what if we already use extra for another "note"? would that still work?

    Add multiple lines.

    Just put these lines at the top of Extra, above the notes. You can add extra empty lines in between.
