unable to read text from pdf files

zotero was unable to read text from pdf for extraction on metadata when a pdf file was dragged and drooped.

    If you look in C:\Program Files\Zotero, does pdftotext.exe exist? If not, it's possible that security software on your system deleted that file, which should be bundled with Zotero.

    Try reinstalling Zotero.

    pdftotext.exe.VIR files are existing ,but still i tried to reinstalled zotero and facing same problem

    Your anti-virus software is flagging and renaming the file.

    This isn't a problem in Zotero. You'll have to figure out why your anti-virus software is flagging this file.
