Your WebDAV server returned an HTTP 0 error for a GET request

I have setup webdav online and confirmed that I can mount it to my pc with read/write capability. I setup in zotero. After I hit verify, it says File sync is successfully setup. However, every time I hit the sync button, it shows error. Can anyone help?

Error messages.

If you receive this message repeatedly, check your WebDAV server settings or contact your WebDAV server administrator.

  • That just means that the connection to your WebDAV server is failing. Either the request is being rejected due to a Connection Error or you're getting an SSL Certificate Error (though that should normally be a different error message).
  • Thanks for your advice.
I checked with both links. I did use Let's Encrypt as certificate. It matches the domain name.
I mounted the same folder with same credential to my desktop in the lab and there is no issue with access, both read and write. The webdav is setup in my nas at home. So I assumed that webdav side is ok?
I can use the same setup (through wan instead of lan) to read and write on the same laptop at home. Would it be something in zotero that i need to change?
    Thanks again.
  • Changed to proxy.type=0 and it worked. Thank you
