Zotero 5.0.85

I have not used zotero/libreoffice in about two weeks and have updated manjaro twice during that time. All was working and stable. When I opened today, the Zotero toolbar had lost its icons and just said add-in #1. When I opened addin menu in LO, it did not show Zotero any more. I had added one new plugin, Language tool, replacing Grammarly.

Open zotero and reinstall LO extension. Zotero shows word integration enabled, but when I reinstall it just says error, make sure all libreoffice are closed. There was no libreoffice, uno, or siffice-bin running.

Try manual install from usr/lib.... Although I clicked on the ozt file, zotero reported a file not found error. I thought it might be permissions/ownership, so I moved the extension into my home dorecctory, changed ownership to me, and permissions to 644. Same error.

Installing from LO also failed with file not found.
  • You can try (backing up and) deleting your LO cache or profile directory.
  • Yep, that did it. I lose my dictionary defs that way though...googling now. thnx
