What's slow, exactly?

You posted a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector. If the problem is in Zotero, we'd need to see a Debug ID from Zotero for the operation in question, not from the Zotero Connector.

Additionally, I am not able to save my word document on my hard drive. When I try, I receive the following message "Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error.

This is an error unrelated to Zotero, but, assuming you are saving this document in your documents, desktop or similar, pointing to some sort of misconfiguration on your computer. File permission misconfigurations might also cause other programs on your computer to not perform correctly, including Zotero.

When I press add/edit bibliography on a word document or google drive, the citation either takes an extremely long time to load on to the document or does not load at all.

We should troubleshoot these one at a time, either Word or Google Docs. You should restart Zotero and any Word processors to start, then attempt to perform a Zotero operation in a new document and see what happens. If you do not see a citation dialog appear you might need to look through all open Zotero windows as sometimes the citation dialog fails to appear on top of Word processors.
