Zotero / CouchDB integration?

I'm just wondering if anyone has looked into Zotero/CouchDB integration at all? It looks like something that might well enhance Zotero's search functionality.

    Well I find the current built in full-text search rather slow, and from what I remember from looking at it a while ago, the implementation was rather naive as well. But I could be wrong. My question was more in the way of thinking aloud :-)

    I just ask b/c as I understand CouchDB, it's key features are a) it's flexible JSON-based data model (no schemas), and b) easy replication. I don't see how those apply here.

    It is both of those things, but now that SQLite's full-text functionality is available in the version available in Firefox, we plan to switch to that, which should improve things.
